An invitation is issued for participation at the Research Roundtable at the 17th Binational Communications Congress, to all persons who participate in teaching and research related to communications, and who are working on theoretical-methodological papers, research projects, research results and ongoing research.
The evaluation of all such submitted work will be done by the Evaluation Committee, maintaining autonomy for the selection of works that meet with the requirements established in this submissions call.
Papers will be accepted as soon as this invitation is issued. The deadline for submission is March 11, 2011, at 12pm. All papers must be sent to the following e-mail: email@example.com. The results for accepted papers will be made known by e-mail no later than March 22nd, 2001.
Accepted participants must pay 35 to 40 US dollars, as pertains to the registration in the Congress; they must also complete pre-registration as indicated in the Congress webpage, independently of the submission of papers.
The Department Chairs will schedule the roundtables within their care, and will make it known via e-mail to what table each accepted participant corresponds. The document must contain the following data:
1. Name and e-mail of author.
2. Research line and subject-matter.
3. Paper title.
4. Name of university and/or nationality.
5. Academic stature (masters, PhD., etc).
7. Key words.
8. Complete document presentation following these criteria:
a. Abstracts may no exceed 400 words (including blank spaces).
b. The text must be unpublished.
c. Text length must be from 15 to 20 pages, including bibliography, title, name, institution, e-mail, abstract and 3 key words.
d. Documents must be written in Windows Word, font size 12, Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing.
e. Quotes that contain more than three lines must be included in the text, and references must be set within parenthesis, following the scheme: author’s last name, year and page.
f. Abstracts that exceed three lines must be written in font size 11, with standard line spacing.
g. Bibliography must be set at the end of the text, with the same font and font size, in standard line spacing.
h. Notes at the foot of the page must have font size 9, in standard line spacing.
i. The names of the files must contain the name the last name of the author of the paper.
